The study program is currently going through an external audit commissioned by the program. The board members are alumni of the program and members from academia and industry from the EU and US. the board has already had meetings with students, alumni, lecturers, administration, coordinators and affiliated partners. we expect the report to be ready by early next year.

The master thesis defense session was held for the first time in September. For the evaluation we had reviewers from the three different main partners as well as associated partners and alumni of the program which ended up quite nice and smooth. Compared to last year we added another crash course on statistics which the students from previous cohort saw it being lacking in their background. When it comes to the student housing we have a better communication with SIT and it seems compared to last year things have gone a bit smoother. This could also be because the program has employed a student assistant which helps the students in their installation and integration. We still have problems with the Norwegian language course and the positions offered is so limited that non of our students well able to register for the course.

<ul><li>With around 600 applicants last year we broke the record for the number of applications in the program. </li><li>In general the quality of our applicants are quite good and the program itself has control points which provides us the chance to filter out students who are not suitable for the program as the study progresses. </li><li>Apart from the online introduction meeting we hold in April the students are followed up on by the administration and the student buddy to insure that they arrive on time. We then have two weeks of welcome week (one at the start of the semester and one at the start of September) for the students to get to know the program and group. different social events have been arranged over this time allowing the student to know all faculty, postdoc, PhD and administrative members of the group. </li><li>new master room has been provided to the student.</li><li> lack of few library books have also been addressed by the program purchasing books and gifting it to the library. </li><li>case of lack of devices the program is able and has already purchased anything needed. </li><li> the program does not have a drop out but historically one or two students have been expelled from the program due to the lack of progress which is not something for concern.</li><li> we have regular meetings between lecturers of different semesters to cover any issues between the courses </li></ul>
