POSITIVE FEEDBACK<ul><li>Overall introduction to EiT and the Village topic has been very good this year.</li><li>Good feedback was received during the reference group meetings.</li><li>Students have been satisfied with the village topic lectures, EiT-related lectures, and guest lectures during the 15 village days.</li><li>Writing TEAM reflections has been a good experience for this year's students and students did take efforts to work on writing detailed team reflections after every village day.</li></ul>CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACKThere was a strong request from the student to<ul><li>get an overview of different projects that were carried out in this village in the previous years for them to generate ideas.</li><li>Have examples of SITRA exercises with the theory involved.</li><li>Reduce the 7.5 hrs of the physical village days to around 4 hrs and split the physical village day into 2 days in the week.</li><li>to have a different classroom than G-HE211 given the room's air quality and lighting conditions.</li></ul>ACTION PLAN<ul><li>Consent from the current student groups has been taken to present their projects as an example for next year's student</li><li>examples of SITRA with the theory involved have been requested by the EiT coordinator at Gjøvik. An action plan will be made to have more one-to-one meetings with the groups to discuss TEAM reflections with more direct feedback, especially regarding the theory involved.</li><li>This village is intended to run as a physical village on Wednesday unless changes are made by the EiT coordination and management group.</li><li>A request for a different classroom will be made in the fall and will be up to the administration to allocate a different classroom depending on the availability.</li></ul>

<ul><li>This year the course had a total of 18 students that were split into 4 groups (5,5,4, and 4 students respectively). All the groups took efforts to learn writing reflections and the village topic's technicalities.</li><li>All the students had a very good percentage for their attendance and did not miss village days unless were sick or had mandatory duties (for example, military).</li><li>With respect to the grades received by the 4 groups, course learning outcomes were achieved with 2 groups receiving an 'A' grade for their project and process reports.</li><li>All the groups (and respective students) took an active part in healthy discussions during the Perspective Dialogue sessions and group exercises.</li></ul> Overall, students were satisfied with the quality and content of village IMT4310 and had a positive experience with EiT.

However, students made a strong request for a different classroom than G-HE211 and I hope this will be taken into account for 2024. Also would like to make a note that upon several requests sent, the evaluation report from the student representative group was not received and therefore is not uploaded/attached to this evaluation report.

IMT4310 is an EiT village offered by the Department of Computer Science at the IE faculty in NTNU i Gjøvik. This village is a physically based village running every Wednesday between 0800 – 1600 hrs for 15 village days. The topic of IMT4310 falls in the expertise of the Colourlab at IDI Gjøvik.  IMT4310 has been successfully conducted in Spring 2022 with the initial 4 village days being online/digital (following the COVID regulations set by NTNU) while the remaining 11 village days have been conducted physically in room H-E211. In total 3 reference group meetings were conducted during the village duration. Based on the students, village supervisor, and the student assistant’s experience and after discussions among the village supervisor, assistants, and the reference group members, the following points are made including recommendations/suggestions for improvements for the next year: <ol><li>IMT4310 topic has been a very interesting topic to work on. Students did work on several interdisciplinary projects with applications in Cultural Heritage restoration, medical imaging, and design.</li><li>Activities carried out during the online village days did not seem to be very effective to get to know each other. </li><li>The role of the facilitator in facilitation was not clear and should have been emphasized more with some more lectures and interactions.</li><li>Strong wish to split the EiT day over 2 days as 7.5hrs was a bit too long for most of the students. According to the students, this would help them be more efficient and active and taking this course for one full day seems tiring for many.</li><li>Students wished for more hands-on 3D printing activities with some training.</li><li>Expected learning outcomes of EiT should be communicated more effectively via quizzes in Kahoot/Mentimeter for students to remember them better.</li><li>Suggestion from the Students: Team reflections should perhaps be graded to make all the groups submit on time.  </li></ol>
