About the event #

New opportunities for cutting edge, innovative, impact based collaborative research are now opening. Horizon 2020 is in its last years, and the final Work Programmes will shortly become official. Get a head start; the draft Work Programmes for 2018 – 2020 are available at Innsida.

The kick-off will focus on topics in the 2018 – 2020 Work Programmes that researchers at NTNU and SINTEF are interested in. This is a unique opportunity to discuss your research ideas in light of the upcoming opportunities in Horizon 2020 with both Research Council and local resource persons present.

The kick-off will be organized in parallel workshops covering individual programmes and priority themes in Horizon 2020. NTNU and SINTEF researchers and research groups are invited to indicate in the registration the topics in the upcoming Work Programmes that are of interest. In the parallel workshops the discussion will be centred abound how to address these topics.

The aim of the parallel workshops is to identify a number of topics in the draft work programmes with deadlines in 2018 and 2019 that NTNU researchers and research groups will apply for, either alone (with European partners) or together with SINTEF. The researchers and groups who decide to participate and thus contribute in the workshop will gain priority access to NTNU’s support mechanisms for EU-funded research.

Please note: Workshops for the programmes under the H2020 Excellence Pillar will be organized separately (European Research Council, Marie Sklodowska Curie Action, Research Infrastructure, and Future and Emerging Technologies).
