TeamViewer is proprietary computer software for remote control, desktop sharing, online meetings, web conferencing and file transfer between computers.

License information

Free: Available on Microsoft Windows, MacOS X, Linux and mobile devices.

Used by some departments at NTNU.

Note! NTNU IT's license of TeamViewer has been terminated, in favor of ConnectWise. There are still TeamViewer licenses at NTNU, but these are paid for by departments.

The free client that can be downloaded from TeamViewer (see Manufacturer below) can not be used in NTNU's network without a license, as our network is considered a corporate network and requires a license.
