For international students and employees without the Norwegian "MIN-ID" or "Bank-ID" system who forgot their password.

If you have a Norwegian "Bank-ID" or "Min-ID": Use the main procedure "Glemt passord" (in Norwegian).

Reset your password - for students #

 Reset password 

  1. You must create a new password if you cannot remember the old one.
  2. You need your student number, the 4-digit PIN code and the ID number that your received in an email when you came to NTNU.
  3. Remember to also manually change the password on your mobile devices, they will not be synchronized. 

The procedure is quite similar to the one you used when you activated your user account. If you have forgotten or lost access to your StudentWeb PIN code, check the email you received when you came to NTNU or request a new one from StudentWeb. If this doesn't work, reactivate your user account with SMS or contact Orakel Support Services.
