[Open position] Research fellowship position at PhD/postdoctoral level in cryptographic tools for cloud security

A research fellowship position at PhD/postdoctoral level in “Cryptographic tools for cloud security” is available at the Department of Telematics.

Cryptographic tools for cloud security

The overall aim of the project is to develop new cryptographic algorithms and protocols suitable for securing cloud computing against pervasive adversaries. In addition we will analyse and assess suitable key management processes to support such cryptographic mechanisms. The project will focus on providing rigorous security analysis for algorithms and protocols while at the same time maximizing practical effectiveness by building up an integrated security architecture. Work tasks will include: design and analysis of homomorphic encryption algorithms suitable for cloud computation; formal analysis of suitable key management frameworks; design and analysis of protocols for proving correct handling of stored (encrypted) data; secure and practical protocols for cloud applications; design of a practical cloud security architecture.

Application deadline: Nov 29 2015
